Ladies Golf Attire – Ladies Golf Clubs – Guide

Hi, welcome to Ladies Golf Attire – Ladies Golf Clubs – Guide.  I’m Sue a true golf enthusiast.  I took up playing golf over 30 years ago.  My husband introduced me to golf when I was his young bride.  I was hooked from the beginning and played whenever time and resources permitted.  My golf skills were never really good. However, that did not hamper my love for the game.  A number of years have now passed, since I have played golf.  Currently, I’m a caregiver for my elderly parents, which doesn’t permit time for golfing.  But I still have the love for the game in my heart along with fond memories of the fun times I enjoyed with friends on the course.  If you are a beginner lady golfer, or considering taking up golfing, you are about to embark on a journey that often lasts a lifetime … the journey of loving golf.  Hope this site can help guide you in your journey.

My Personal Tips For The Beginner Golfer Lady

1. Golf, like many sports, can become expensive.  Especially if you like traveling to distant clubs.  Be sure to include golf in your budget and then be strong and stick to your golf budget.

Don’t feel as though you have to invest in expensive equipment.  Starter equipment, or used equipment, is just fine for getting started.  You will enjoy the game much more if you are not burden with credit card charges to cover golf expenses.

2. Learn the rules of golf etiquette and then be true to following the rules.

3. Don’t feel guilty when you go golfing.  Forget about the piled up laundry, grocery shopping, house cleaning, demands of the job and countless other life pressures.

Relax and enjoy your golf game or practice session.  Create some wonderful memories.  The other stuff will wait and you will be better able to cope with it all after an enjoyable day of golfing.

4. Golfing is a great form of exercise, especially if you are not using a cart.  Even if you use a cart you will still do a lot of walking.  The one thing you do want to invest in is comfortable golf shoes.  If your feet are hurting it will be difficult for you to enjoy your game.

5. If your game is going badly, don’t be hard on your self.  Sometimes one really bad shot can have a rippling effect on our game if we let it get to us.

Strive to keep you emotions positive and focus on each shot.  Throwing or banging clubs is not the way to deal with a bad shot.  It will only make you look bad and feel even worse.

6. The two best things you can do to improve your golfing skills are taking lessons and practicing.  Often golf books and DVDs can provide you with good tips and techniques.  These are great to use if you can’t afford lessons or you can’t work lessons into your schedule.

7. As ladies, we all like to look great when stepping onto the course.  However, if your budget is tight then golf attire is one area that you can hold back on.  It would be good if you could invest in one nice ladies golf outfit, but for the most part comfortable shorts and breathable tops will do fine.

A great way to add to your golf wardrobe is when others ask what you want for your birthday or other gift giving occasions then let it be known ladies golf attire … golfwear.
